Proud to Care
All of our staff are proud of the work we do and the care we deliver to patients. Liverpool Community Health are keen to harness all that pride to make the great services we provide the best they possibly can be. Our initiative called Proud to Care, is all about doing exactly that.
On one level, Proud to Care is a series of activities which we’ll be embarking on, designed to make the quality of our services even better. We’ll be stepping up the way we observe and treat patients whose conditions are deteriorating. We’ll be ensuring we have the right learning and education opportunities for colleagues to help them develop their clinical skills and their broader careers here at LCH. We’ll be encouraging greater use of technology to improve care. The first initiative will be a series of peer-to-peer reviews, where we look at each other’s services and identify what’s going well and what could we do better. We’ll draw up action plans on the basis of what we find. This will help us to continuously improve and stand us in good stead for the future.
Proud to Care is more than a programme of activities. It captures how we all feel about the work we do. It is also about celebrating the support we provide to our patients and our community.
We have now launched our Proud to Care Blog. This is an opportunity for us to tell everyone about the great work we do and the pride in the care we provide. Our series of blogs are available to read here.
